Escrow Accounts
Circuit Court Clerk’s Office – Nashville, TN
Overview
An Escrow Account is a prepaid account with the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. It allows users to charge:
- Filing fees
- Service fees
- Copy costs
These charges can be made in the Circuit, Probate, and General Sessions–Civil offices, up to the amount deposited.
Escrow Accounts are fully integrated with our eFlex electronic filing system, allowing users to e-file without incurring third-party payment service fees.
Account Types
There are two types of Escrow Accounts:
- Individual Attorney Account
- Firm Account
Note: An attorney may only use one Escrow Account—either an individual account or as an authorized user on a firm account.
How to Open an Account
To establish an Escrow Account, submit:
- A completed Escrow Account Application
- A minimum deposit of $500
