The Traffic Violations Bureau does not directly process credit cards or electronic checks; however, for your convenience, you can pay online through an independent company with which we have contracted to provide you with this service. You can use most major credit/debit cards and electronic checks to pay fines, fees and costs owed to the Traffic Violation Bureau online.
Our office sends electronic releases and payment updates to the Department of Safety daily. It is our understanding that it may take the Department of Safety several weeks to process this update in their system. If you would like a paper release for you to personally deliver to the Department of Safety, you will need to wait 2 business days from the date of your payment and then contact the Traffic Warrant Division.
