You have the option to pay the fine and cost due on all violations of a Metropolitan Ordinance prior to your court date, with the exception of a citation written for a vicious dog or a citation issued with a private prosecutor where the citation indicates that you "Cannot Pay" the citation. For these two exceptions, you must appear in court.

With the exception of an excessive alarm violation, the fine and cost for any Metro Misdemeanor violation of any Metro Ordinance is the same. Prices below are for tickets issued on or after July1, 2012

Violation Fine Cost Administrative Fee Total Due
Excessive Alarms $25.00 $12.50 $44.00 $81.50
Citations with Private Prosecutor AND "Cannot Pay" Notation Must come to Court on date listed on citation
